Yvette Lee Browser Writer/Producer
Bowser had a chance meeting with Bill Cosby in her senior year at Stanford, who invited her to be a part of his new series, "A Different World," where she progressed from apprentice writer to producer during her five-year tenure.
Bowser went on to produce "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" (ABC) and created "Living Single" (FOX), the number one comedy in African-American households during its entire run. She also created the romantic comedy, "For Your Love" (NBC) and executive produced the UPN series "Half & Half." Most recently, Bowser helped spearhead the Writer's Guild of America's Showrunner Training Program. |

David Gale

Navid Mcilhargey Vice President, Silver Pictures, Columbia College Chicago alumnus
Originally from Ohio, McIlhargey received his MFA from Columbia College Chicago. After interning at Jodie Foster's Egg Pictures, he moved to Los Angeles where he started in the mailroom at United Talent Agency. He moved on to Joe Roth's Revolution Studios company in 2000, and eventually oversaw "White Chicks," "Peter Pan," and developed the upcoming "Zoom's Academy," " Black Water Transit" and many others.
He started with Joel Silver in 2004 and has quickly developed many large scale sci-fi and action scripts, prepping some to go into production. Recent Silver Pictures releases include "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang", "V for Vendetta", and "Speed Racer". |

David Garrett
Most recently, writer/producer David Garrett sold the half hour reality show "I've Never" to Reveille and the one-hour dramedy "Citizen's Arrest" to the USA Network. Previously, he co-wrote the half hour comedy pilot "Central" for CW with Paramount Television. In 2006, NBC bought the half-hour comedy pilot "The Dysfunctionals" which was based on David's life. WB's "Living with Fran", which Garrett co-created and Executive Produced, was also based on his life and ran for 2 years.
In 2006, Garrett co-wrote "Foreign Exchange" for MTV Films and the musical comedy "Do That To Me One More Time" for Touchstone Pictures, with Jack Black attached to star and produce. In 2005, Garret co-wrote "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo"starring Rob Schneider and produced by Adam Sandler. In addition to co-writing "First Pet" and "Corky Romano" for Disney, Garrett co-wrote screenplays for directors Ivan Reitman at Dreamworks, Tom Shadyac at Universal and Peter Segal.
In 2003, David sold and co-wrote "The Hatfields & McCoys", a dramatic mini-series for the USA Network. He has co-written and produced over a dozen pilots, series & specials for ABC, NBC, CBS, UPN, Comedy Central, Showtime and Fox. He's had development deals with Fox Television Studios, Paramount TV, and Touchstone. David is an attorney, a member of the California State Bar and graduate of UCLA Law School.

Founding partner Fernando Szew serves as CEO, spearheading company strategy and overseeing the operations of the company. Prior to the formation of MarVista Entertainment, Szew served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at his father’s distribution company, Whamo Entertainment, joining him in 1999 at the young age of 23. It was Szew’s vision to transform the company from a distributor of third-party produced programming to a production and distribution company with a worldwide presence. By 2003, Szew and his father had aligned with current partners Michael D. Jacobs and George F. Port to launch MarVista Entertainment, a fundamental springboard towards that goal.
Szew serves as executive producer of the primetime teen drama Beyond the Break which debuted in the U.S. in June 2006 on MTV Network’s The N and several television movies including, Night of Terror for Lifetime Television, Christmas in Boston for ABC Family and Disaster Zone: Volcano in New York for Universal Television.
Under Szew’s direction, the company complements its distribution slate with strategic acquisitions and third party distribution agreements for television movies, kid’s live-action series and animated specials.
During his tenure at Whamo, Szew expanded the company’s operations by forming strategic distribution alliances with such companies as Cambium Entertainment (Canada), Burbank Animation Studios (Australia), VICTORY Film Production & Distribution (Germany) and VCI (UK). Additionally, Szew was responsible for distributing internationally such noteworthy entertainment franchises as Theodore Tugboat, The Three Stooges and Art Clokey’s Gumby. Szew launched Whamo’s European operation in Barcelona, Spain in 2001.
Prior to joining Whamo, Szew served as Manager of International Commerce for CEPA (G&Z), then one of Argentina’s principal exporters and the country’s largest export-based meat packing company with over 1500 employees. Szew was directly responsible for the sale of higher margin products with sales of over US$ 40 million p.a. Szew was in charge of leading a round of negotiations with Outback Steakhouse, an important worldwide restaurant chain, where he established and implemented innovative business and revenue models for the company.
Szew is an alumnus of the Huntsman International Studies and Business Program’s first graduating class at the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a dual-degree with double concentration in Management and Marketing at the prestigious Wharton School of Business. |

Ron Taylor
Vice President of Fox Diversity Development Taylor has worked as a network and studio development executive, as well as a TV series writer. Most recently, he was vice president of development and programming at Columbia-TriStar, where he developed series for cable TV, including "Strong Medicine" (Lifetime) and "Street Time" (Showtime).
Taylor was one of the first executives at UPN and was instrumental in creating the network from 1994-97. Taylor has also been a development executive at Warner Brothers and Disney, and an episode writer for such series as "Renegade," "Forever Knight," "Covington Cross" and "The Sentinel." He recently wrote the short film "Brothers of the Borderland" which is presented daily at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati. |

Daniel Tibbets Go Network
Daniel Tibbets' traditional media experience spans 16 years including senior executive roles in production and development for companies such as Twentieth Television, Fireworks Television, CBS Enterprises and Papazian-Hirsch Entertainment, where he is credited with the development and sale of the HBO series ROME. While running FOXLAB, Inc. and production at Twentieth Television, Daniel developed the first ever convergence program to air on broadcast television, Classmates, in association with Classmates.com. Also, at FOXLAB, Inc. he created and developed the "mobisode," including executive producing the first two original content mobisode'sTM Love and Hate and Sunset Hotel (winner of the Golden Eagle Award for Excellence) which launched on Verizon's VCAST in February 2005.
Making Television Week's "HOT LIST" in 2003, Daniel has been considered a pioneer and thought a leader of innovative content development. Currently, as Executive Vice President, Studios at GoTV Networks, Daniel oversees all programming, development and licensing of content for mobile distribution by working with traditional media companies, carriers, production companies and broadband portals. Casey La Scala, Producer/Writer/Director
CASEY LA SCALA has recently complemented his extensive creative producing experience with tremendous success writing feature films and television. La Scala scripted “Throttle” for Warner Brothers Studios, “Coyotes” with Val Kilmer and James Caan attached, the one-hour television pilot entitled “Tribes” for Touchstone Television/ABC, is developing the scripted series “Michael” with Sam Raimi (Spiderman), a feature project with Academy Award Nominated director James Mangold (Walk the Line, 310 to Yuma) and is currently completing his script deal with Twentieth Century Fox Studios.
As a successful creative producer in feature film, La Scala has served as a producer and head of production at Gaylord Films and its specialty division, Pandora, which had a multi-year, co-financing deal with Warner Brothers Studios. While running Gaylord Films and Pandora’s production since its inception in 2000, Casey has produced and financed a variety of films including the critically acclaimed “Donnie Darko,” starring Jake Gyllenhaal, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for the festival’s Grand Jury Prize. He also produced the thriller “Cypher,” starring Jeremy Northam and Lucy Liu for Miramax Films. La Scala focused his attention on the ever-expanding teen market with the hit “A Cinderella Story,” starring Hillary Duff. Casey served as Executive Producer on “What a Girl Wants,” starring Amanda Bynes and Colin Firth for Warner Bros./Di Novi Pictures, the successful drama “A Walk to Remember” with Mandy Moore and the Warner Bros. skateboarding comedy “Grind,” which also marked his directorial debut.
